Common Questions

1. Can this pockets cover machine DT 3020TDE be used on normal pockets attaching?

No. This machine is for pocket cover sewing. The structure is different from the normal pockets attaching sewing machine DT 3020TD. So if you want to sew the pockets and pockets cover, you may need 2 different machines: DT 3020TDEandDT 3020TD.

2. How to choose the machine head?

Normally, for denim fabrics, we recommend the Brother 7300A machine head and 311 pattern sewing machine head. For thin fabrics, we better recommend the JUKI machine head.

The choice depends on the fabric weight and the type of stitching required. Denim requires a more powerful head for penetration, while thin fabrics benefit from a finer, more precise head.

3. DT 311 pattern machine head – what are the advantages and disadvantages?

This machine head is modified by ourselves. The noise is a little louder than other machines, and the speed is slower.

However, when sewing heavy fabrics, the DT 311 pattern machine head performs better. It provides stronger penetration and more stable operation on thick materials, making it suitable for denim and heavy-duty pocket covers.
