Part 1: The 20-Point Used Machine Inspection Checklist
Before committing to any purchase, run through this comprehensive inspection. If possible, bring a technician or experienced operator with you.
Exterior & Visual Inspection
1. Overall appearance. Look at the top, bottom, and underneath of the machine. Areas stripped from rubbing, bent screws, dented or cracked parts indicate poor maintenance and very intense use. Be especially wary of fresh paint that may mask problems.
